Capacity Building Needs of Home Economics Lecturers for Computer Assisted Teaching of Pattern Drafting for Entrepreneurship in South East Nigeria

This study looked at the capacity development requirements of Home Economics teachers in South East Nigeria for computer-assisted pattern drafting training. A research question and a hypothesis led investigation. Ex-post facto was used this study. total 131 lecturers from universities, polytechnics, colleges education were included Because its manageable size, complete population investigated, so there no sampling. Capacity Building Needs Computer Assisted Teaching Questionnaire (CBNCATQ) data collection. The instrument face validated tested internal consistency using Cronbach Alpha Coefficient. Data obtained respondents analyzed Statistical Package Social Science (SPSS). Percentage, mean scores standard deviation to answer while with t-test 0.05 level significance. results showed that training on use computers, ability various materials equipment, availability electricity power follow basic principles among others building needs lecturers. Based findings, it recommended should be given opportunities in-service computer usage workshops organized benefits computers teaching.
